I often make bookmarks for my Etsy shop using cardstock for the base. I decided to try something a little different and use watercolor paper. I blobbed, schumtzed, painted (take your pick) backgrounds with no idea of what I would add to them.
I used magazine transferred (on packaging tape) images and scrapbook paper.
Here are a few others I made later.
Have a fun day!
Very pretty - I especially like the bird one.
ReplyDeleteNice bookmarks Di! If I was a woman I'd buy one. Heck, I'd buy all of them
ReplyDeleteI like this.
ReplyDeleteI read your status. That is how I feel about art and photography. Whatever drives my fancy. Was beautiful day in Canada. So went to a town and got out for half hour walked around. I took pictures of the river, art in a window, door. Now home.
ReplyDeleteI love photography as well.
schumtzed ??? Interesting word..I've done water color backgrounds in the past..Kinda fun..Have you tried shaving cream drizzled with reinkers, swirled a bit..Then lay the card stock on top of the mess and dry..?
ReplyDeleteI love the effect of the watercolors...how neat! Hugs!!!
ReplyDeleteWonderful Diane, hope they sell like hotcakes!
