One Big Garage Sale

Every year a woman and her daughter host a huge garage sale nearby. I think she is associated with estate sales and these things are the "leftovers." A lot of it, I can see why it's left over, but I always manage to find some good amid the rubble.

This year I lucked into some vintage Christmas. And notice the red Christmas tree candle in the next photo. I forgot to put it in this shot. It's a Tavern, not a Gurley for you collectors out there.

An interesting old jewelry box with a mirror on the inside of the lid. The Grand Canyon postcard is one of those folders with 6 or so cards. The little Beagle is plastic-- I thought it was china at first, but it's still cute for 25 cents.

Here's a better look at the swan planter from the photo above.

Ya know for someone who never found much vintage wrapping paper, I sure have come across a lot this summer.

Pretty nice haul for one stop!

Have a nice day!
