Here are last week's index cards I made for ICAD. Up first, is not my usual type of work. I have a package of paper coasters given to me so decided to use one. It's the bright flowers in the center. The rest is watercolor, marker, and cut paper from magazines-- the fern stamps are from the USPS catalog.
You needn't have worried-- I couldn't let ICAD go by without a card for Led Zeppelin. Notice I added a line to the vocabulary card.
Here is another departure type piece. I "smooshed" some watercolors on a few cards to use as backgrounds earlier and thought this one sort of looked like turtle colors so...
Not smooshed watercolors but smooshed acrylics here. I added stickers, cardboard, a bingo card clipping, and words of wisdom from a magazine.
Who remembers the old "Pac-O-Fun" magazines? My mother had some back in the 60s/early 70s. This card was all cut from one magazine.
More smooshing with watercolors and some leaf printing (paint the underside of a leaf and press/rub on a paper). Also, rubber stamps, pattern tissue, sticker, and magazine clipping (can you refer to it as a "clipping" if you tore most of it?).
Trading stamps overload! All vintage stamps and clippings from trading stamp books.
Quite a variety this week. I never know what I'll come up with-- kinda fun that way!
Have a great day!
