Here in northern IL, autumn color hasn't taken hold yet. In my exact neck of the woods it's never too stunning-- dull trees, I guess, but here is a sampling from my yard and beyond.
There is still a lot of green which is fine with me.
Oh we've got lots of green ...and with the recent rains the fields have green'd up again too. It was all brown and dry out there. Even have a few little flowers putting on a show here and there. So far north, I figured you'd be getting ready for the snow to fly!
I always love looking at Autumn colours no matter where. Even with the green it shows great contrast. I was over in New England at the beginning of this month and they really were stunning if a little early. Hugs xx

I do love the brilliant fall colors and that gorgeous blue sky! Our leaves are dropping fast. We're past peak here now.
