Here is the latest paper craft fad I decided to try: accordion books. Just folded card stock. Mine are only four panels long. Most are much longer, but I thought that was a good place to start-- less work too! They're about 10 inches long and 4 inches high. I've made two so far.
Here is one side with just the background papers adhered and the edges colored with markers.
Here is the finished piece.
This is the reverse side of the above.
Here is the other book.
And here is the back side.
I like the fact they can stand on their own for display.
Of course, you can do anything with one of these books, not just collage. Markers, paint, add fabric... Pretty fun. I'm beginning to think there are too many ideas out there!
Enjoy your day!
I am jealous of your creativity!
ReplyDeleteI'll take that as a compliment but really the collage effect is pretty easy. Kids could even do it well!
DeleteThey look like a lot of work..Happy Presidents day to you as well..
ReplyDeleteCute accordion books, Diane!
