Holy Leftovers, Batman!

A couple more Batman items today.  My sister gave me the Batmobile cookie jar for my 40th birthday.

Gee, why didn't I think to put some cookies in there???

Yes, I kept the box so it will be easy to move if I ever move, and so someday it will be worth a ton of money (yeah, right).

And what Batman fan can live without the original Adam West Batman movie on DVD?  It was released in 1966 and is as campy, funny, and entertaining as ever. This DVD has commentary by Adam West and Burt Ward-- very interesting.

I believe that is it for my little Batman collection.

Just remember-- ZOCKO!

  1. Love those boooth! I believe that's my favorite version of the Batmobile, as ostentatious as it is, at least it's not his latest SUV nightmare. Subtle! :D

  3. Oh yeah...cookies would have been nice! LOL...
    You know what I was thinking as I was reading, then you said it... "Someday it will be worth a ton of money"{the box}
    the box is always worth more than the item inside or it ups the value tremendously!

    I must say, we have HGTV --used to be antennea(we don't have cable)...anyway, we actually WATCH THAT MOVIE everytime we see it come on. The little grandkids will watch with us... it is funny.
    I always think of Batman running around the docks with that bomb over head looking for a safe place to throw it...lol... campy! But funny as heck!
    I think every kid would love to drive the Batmobile. There was actually a 'batmobile' (don't know if it was THE Batmobile...at the car show in Dallas, years ago, when we took our kids.
    I was so happy my then, teen boys, wanted to Oooh and Ahhh over the batmobile and cars...rather than the Dallas Cowboy Cheerleaders giving autographs and pictures. We have pictures somewhere of the Batmobile. :)

    I enjoyed seeing your collection...it brought back lots of memories for me!
    ...wondering how many times one can type 'batmobile' in one comment? ~Pat
