Another post from the 1967 Sears catalog today. These missus styles are pretty tame, practical looking for 1967. I'll save the mod look for another day. Although the fabric shown on the left is rather mod.
This is the price for the above dresses!! $5.50 for a dress?!
Is this a gentle way of saying "middle-age" or "matron?"
Have a good day!
Such fun to see these, especially since I remember my mom wearing lots of outfits like these.
ReplyDeleteGreat Sears finds. And who says there's no inflation?? I keep expecting Emma Peel to appear.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad those days are over. I can't wear that style anymore. Loved it when I could.
ReplyDeleteRemember the stretchy pants, I guess they're pretty much the same thing as leggings now!
ReplyDeleteI was a teenager that year and I remember having some of those tight pants! lol And teasing my hair like that, too! Hugs!
ReplyDeleteGreat style!
ReplyDeleteI don't know that I could have ever pulled it off to looks so stylish...but I remember my mom wearing some of these. The cinched waist line is flattering to the curvier women!
I see many women going back to the vintage style clothing for everyday wear...and I think it is so cute on them!
