Books and a Troll

If you are not into collage, you probably won't see the beauty in my recent thrift finds. If you're like me, however, you would love to get your hands on vintage text books and a 1970s Sears reprint catalog.

Of course, I couldn't forget my daughter, right?

Let's peek into that 1900 Sears catalog. A lot of cool stuff in there!

I'm sure you ladies will agree with me when I say I'm awfully glad corsets went out of style.

And, yes, here is the "troll" part of my title. I know nothing about these troll dolls and stated that fact in my Etsy description. This guy sold in about 4 hours. I think that is a record for my shop. Either I priced him low or they are more popular than I realized-- probably both. Think I'll ever come across another one now? Probably not!

Enjoy your day!

  1. I was crazy about trolls in the 60's - they were very popular. I still have a couple.

  2. Oh! an actual TROLL...
I thought maybe you had a blog stalker!
I don't do collage, yet. Though you are the Queen...and master of this medium. I mean, Hey, you inspired me to ICAD. Believe me, I have plenty to collage.
That catalog...would make a perfect drawer liner decoupaged to the inside of a desk drawer or matted and framed.

    1. And I almost missed it-- my husband was with me, and he spotted it. I think I've trained him well! LOL!
