Let's get up to speed with ICAD today. This card is half old gardening book and half newer seed catalog. I'm sure you can tell which is which. The flourish is a rubber stamp.
I used the prompt "telephone" for this one. Kinda lame interpretation, I guess, save for the fact these are old phones. The candlestick phone is a rubber stamp; the rest are scrapbook paper.
And here we are at the first of July (can't believe that!). The girl and the text were cut from a 1950s magazine. The little floral piece behind her is scrapbook paper, and the rest was done with markers.
Just a quick, random collage here made from an older magazine and marker.
The next two I followed the prompts. This one, obviously, is I Love Lucy. I had the heart and TV stickers. The bigger TV is a scrapbook paper image. The Lucy and Desi faces in the background were drawn with marker.
This prompt was flag/Independence Day. I did both. Stickers, postage stamp, scrapbook paper, ink... You get the idea.
Have a good day and thanks for stopping by!
These are great, Diane. I don't know how you come up with the ideas. They're so clever.
