Backyard Circus

I'm showing yet another of my childhood books today. A fun one, large too; about the size of a sheet of notebook paper. And aren't we relieved to know it is "Educationally Sound?" It was published in 1967.

The simple story is about children who saw a circus then decide to make their own with the neighborhood kids. When was the last time you saw a little girl in a sandbox wearing a dress?

I always liked this book, as you can probably tell by the wear. I think the colorful illustrations is what appealed to me.
