Here are a few more finds from a couple garage sales I stopped at last Saturday. A few of these items are already in my Etsy store. A very 70s looking flour canister, a 1950s wooden pineapple dish from Hawaii. A cute ceramic reindeer candle hugger, a Belleek salt cellar, and old nursery rhyme seal booklets.
As I was talking to the owner about this Belleek piece, I asked if it was a salt cellar. He said, "Just a little ring dish." I looked it up; I'm going with salt cellar.
Old camera outfit-- with the box, manual, and all. Kinda neat.
I'm keeping that groovy flour canister. It's in place in a dead corner of my kitchen counter. No flour in it-- just for looks. Remember what I said yesterday about being impractical??
Since The Thrifty Groove still has their link running, I might as well link up again.
Enjoy your weekend!

ReplyDeleteOh my, Diane, part two is as much fun as part one. I’ so glad your kept the canister. I was hoping you would.
ReplyDeleteMy kitchen counter space is almost microscopic, so I have no space the cute things you find, but I have a severe case of "goodie envy!"
