Some Finds

I hit one estate sale a couple weeks ago. I didn't get much, but here is the haul.

The old dog statues seem to be finding me lately which is fine with me. A cute, made in Taiwan Easter decoration, and a little bunny (my MIL collects rabbits).

Let's look in the Yosemite book. As you can imagine, there are lots of wonderful shots. This book was published by National Geographic by the way.

Pretty amazing! I've never been there. Have any of you?

Thanks for dropping by today.

Finally Some Color

We finally saw quite a show of Fall color last week.

The hosta leaves are really yellow this year.

And there are still some die-hard blooms, believe it or not.  I'm sure this will be the last post of the year that features flowers.

Enjoy your day!

Friday Favorite

Today, for Friday Favorite, I'm asking: what is your favorite color? That is a popular question. I suppose the answer does say something about us or at least the clothes we wear or the way we decorate. So what is yours? Orange?

Blue?

Yellow?

Green?

I will go with hot pink. And let's make this a two-parter. What is your least favorite color? Mauve or a real blah beige would get my vote.

Have a colorful weekend!!

TH Tag Nov

Believe it or not, it's time for the Tim Holtz tag for November which means there is only one left after this!

The image of the pumpkins is from a seed catalog. I made it into a tape transfer so the text below would show through. The pumpkin on the inchie is also from a seed catalog.

Happy Fall to you!

Wacky Pack Wednesday

A newer Wacky Pack this week. Plus a little post-Halloween weirdness. You probably know the Kit Kat name, right? And maybe you know the rock band Kiss? Well, here you have the two combined. Clever? Kind of a stretch? You decide.

Have a nice day!

Eww, A Bug

My one and only thrift find last week. A 70s era stoneware mug with a bug, insect, cockroach on it! I do not remember ever seeing one of these back in the day, and this certainly is the first "bug mug" I've ever come across. How about you?

And on to non-bug topics, I recently tried adding watercolors to some old translation cards for collage/crafting purposes. I like the way they turned out. Kind of different.

I already used one on an ATC. The dots washi tape looks pretty nifty overtop.

Enjoy!

Another Halloween In The Books

Yes, another Halloween has come and gone. I doubt any of you remember the miserable weather we had last Halloween. Click here if you're interested.

Well, this year wasn't quite as cold, and we didn't lose power, but it rained, and rained...

There is one silver lining to a Halloween cloud: leftover candy!

Hope yours was fun!
