Collage Obsession has an open challenge this week so anything qualifies.  This is anything:

I just finished this small collage.  Kind of a pain.  The specialty paper I chose for the bottom layers didn't want to adhere, and the grasses I drew on it sort of disappeared into it no matter what I used; I wanted them darker.  Needles to say, I don't think I'll be using that paper again!

In case you are Led Zeppelin deprived, "Kashmir" is one of their songs, and "one of their songs" is quite an understatement.

Have a nice Friday!

  1. I love the subdued look of this piece. :)

  2. I just love collages..Do you keep changing your header or is it the same...I really like it..looks like it's changed..I do greeting cards and many of them are collages..

    1. Same header since last year. Maybe it's time for a change? You should show some of your cards on your blog sometime. Would like to see them!

    2. Thanks..Keep the header..Love it.Maybe I'll do the cards sometime when I'm desperate for something to post..I have some on Pinterest..

  3. Collage is my fav and I love yours!!

  4. Beautiful warm colours....stunning! Thanks for taking the time to visit my blog.

  5. Not knowing how much effort and time went into this construction, I think it is absolutely beautiful. The final result is wonderful even if the grassses weren't as dark ad you wanted. Not knowing how dark you wanted, me, the observer of the final collage think it is beautiful.

  6. Thanks, Earl! You're right. The viewer only sees the final work. The artist sees it with flaws, overcome or not. Thanks for stopping by.
