Little Bird

With my recent robin posts, I thought this was a good time to share another children's book.  Little Bird, by Catherine Stahlmann and illustrated by Irma Wilde, has a 1964 copyright; it has been mine its entire, well-loved life.  Notice the 15 cent price stamped in the upper left corner.

 Something about the pictures attracted me as a child.

When I was a young(er) adult and searching through a box of my old books, I happily pulled out this one.  "This was my favorite!"  I expressed with joy.  My mother, on the other hand, heaved a heavy sigh, and replied, "I know!"
