Adding Color

My last post was all about the black and white art I had made while recuperating. I also started an afghan. I think this makes up for the lack of color in the aforementioned post. I decided to knot together different colors of yarn so I wouldn't be changing skeins often. I do plan to leave the knots showing (although I will trim them). I used this technique on a couple of other projects and like the "homey" look.

I had one skein of black and one of white so made a striped section in the middle. I'm a little more than half done. That stitch is called "afghan stitch" in case anyone is wondering. Very easy.

Thanks for checking in!

  1. I like it. I also just knot together my yarn. Quick and easy. I'm making my son an afghan now.
