I titled this post "Forgotten Finds" because I forgot to write this up when I purchased and shot these items about three weeks ago. So to get you up to speed... one of those old folding rulers that you see all over Etsy. I'll be interested to see if it sells or not. Slides in trays from the 1950s and 60s. I also bought 6 other trays that are not pictured. I wish I had a slide projector. These would be fun to view. Two trays are from the U.S., but the others are from all over Europe. The little Snoopy ornament is one I don't have (see them here). It was in a baggie of about 4 other ornaments that I had no interest in. I usually don't open my big mouth at garage sales, but I did ask the owner if she'd sell just that Snoopy. She said, "Oh sure-- how about 20 cents?" I handed her a quarter and said, "How about 25?" Glad I asked.
More wrapping paper. All of these were unopened. Isn't that sort of amazing-- never opened since the 70s? I can even verify the age of the brownish, wildlife paper since my mother made my horse-crazy sister a 3-D picture using that same paper. She used the horse image and built layers with some sort of glue that dried as a "blob." Precursor to "pop dots," I guess.
Sorry to have delayed posting these exciting finds (yes, I'm being sarcastic).
Have a good day!
