Colorful 1967 Linens

More Sears catalog goodness today. Oh, printed towels, where have you gone? And 92 cent towels, where have you gone???

Oh, colorful bedding where have...  You get the point.

I found it interesting these were called "bed ruffles." Years ago, they switched it to "dust ruffle."  Now it's usually "bed skirt." Whatever you call it, these look very nice.

Enjoy!

  1. I love the colorful patterns and bold prints of the 60's and 70's too. I found a great vintage bed sheet set in perfect condition of blue daisy's. My daughter uses them on her bed but I always steal one of the pillowcases to use myself. LOL.

  4. I bet, if I'd looked hard enough, I would have found some of those sheets in my mother-in-law's linen closet. She had a habit of keeping "the good stuff". O.K., I'll admit I've done that with sheets too. Someone gave me a battenburg sheet that must be ironed. I suspect it will take a visit from the Queen to get that one from the top of the linen closet. Have a wonderful weekend!

  6. It's hard to find any colors now, everything is plain and that can get boring!
