My lilacs are in full swing and smell heavenly! Last year I did not deadhead them for the first time, and they have more blooms than ever. So much for yard maintenance.
I have one white tree too which has most of its blooms atop. We need to thin out some of the bigger branches.
Not to be outdone, one of my three honeysuckle bushes has a ton of flowers this year. The bees love it.

ReplyDeleteOur lilacs are blooming, too! But what has really gone wild this year are our lily of the valley. I'm so glad that spring finally arrived in the Midwest (although it was only 33 degrees this morning--ha!).
