Have you ever heard of inchies? I have but never made any until this week. As if ATCs were not small enough-- these are 1 inch squares! Thanks to The Order of the Opus Gluei for their current theme.
Just to prove their size...
I'm not sure what I'll do with these. I did make a few simple bookmarks which I rather like.
They are quite fun to make. Although it was a little trickier to find tiny elements than I expected.
Have a nice, little day!
These are AMAZING! You are officially the new Queen of Inchies!
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing these little treasures with us at Opus Gluei, I hope you enjoy your newest addiction. I know we certainly do!!
You are Queen Crafty, Diane!! So very cute!!
ReplyDeleteThose are so cute. I keep thinking that if they were fabric, they would make an amazing quilt.
ReplyDeleteCute..Fun to do..What are you going to do with them..They'd make cool collages..
ReplyDeleteWelcome to Opus Gluei and I agree with Electra, you are the new Queen of Inchies! These are absolutely marvelous! Clever, colorful, and perfect. I hadn't thought of using them for bookmarks but that's a nice way to use them practically, and to have a nice little bit of art in another love, books. You're my kind of person, here! I love using them for collages, art journals, cards, the list goes on and they are just fun little ways to express yourself. Thank you for inspiring us with your creativity over at Opus Gluei, I am really looking forward to seeing how you take on other themes with us!
ReplyDeleteP.S. - I tried to pick a favorite but found myself thinking - I love the dog, no, the fruits and the flowers, no, how about that one, no that one. Can't select just one, really like them all!
ReplyDeleteOh these are wonderful...........I totally agree with Electra and greet you thus..."Hail, Queen of Inchies!!"....we're like that at Opus Gluei. I love what you've done with the fish to extend him into a bookmark....and there are so many others I like too. I think my favourite is the cooking one with its stack of bowls and wee snippet of a recipe. Thank you for joining us.
ReplyDeleteHoly smokes those are tiny! Good on you for making them, I don't think I'd have the patience or the manual dexterity to do it!
