Okay, you guessed it, I found more wrapping paper last week at a thrift store, plus a Milne book and a vintage Thermos.
Scrabble for juniors anyone?
Here is a very timely poem in the A.A. Milne book.
I also went to a local estate sale and walked out with 3 vintage finds. My mother had the same blue jar. As a matter-of-fact, my dad might still have it. I'll have to do a bit of snooping. Cute flour sifter with a goose pattern.
The orange "thing" is a stacking trinket dish. Very mod design, don't you think?
And in case you didn't notice-- I actually shot these pictures OUTSIDE (last Friday)! A first for the year!
Note: If you can stand the suspense, I bought a few more things on the second day. Will post those tomorrow.
Great finds..Sometimes you find things that I think are long gone..

I noticed you were taking some shots outside. I don't think I mentioned it though.
ReplyDeleteThe trinket box...reminds me of my childhood. I think I had something similar. The blue jar...also familiar. But its a very vague recollection. :/
I love the A.A. Milne books! and I believe I'd have bought that thermos too.
Keen eye-

I love the sifter - that's awesome.
ReplyDeleteIf the snow keeps melting like it has been here, I'll be taking pictures outside too, if I had any thrifty finds to share!!
