So Artful Challenges is asking for "owls" this week. So here is my bright and rather mod entry.
The owl image is a vintage playing card; probably from the 70s when the first owl fad made the rounds. It's Mod Podged to wood and sealed with varnish-- you know, like the popular decoupage fad also of the 70s.
Now you'll have to watch your 70s intake for the rest of the day. Don't overdose!
That is so adorable! I've always loved owls and these bright colors are FUN! Enjoy your day! I hope it's dry and nice!
ReplyDeleteCute card..The only owl I have is a photo that I used on a post sometime ago..
ReplyDeleteThanks, Missy! Glad you stopped by!
DeleteSooo cute. Have a great day. xo Laura
ReplyDeleteLove the owl. Reminds me of a mini surfboard. I do collect owls. I started many years ago when my son didn't know what to get me for Christmas. So I suggested an owl. So I have been getting an owl from him for probably 20 years. Kinda funny but I treasure them all.
ReplyDeleteHave a great day!!
