Gurley Thanksgiving

If you've been keeping track, you know my grandmother had quite a Gurley candle collection.  Only three are Thanksgiving candles.  I know, these are not rare.  I've already seen them all over Blogland, but they're mine.  I had to post about them since this is my first Thanksgiving with a blog.

The prices slay me.

Enjoy!

  1. My mother had this pilgrim girl too, and the matching boy and turkey! I loved putting them out each year. She never burned them either, and I guess that is why I can't burn figural candles now! Happy Thanksgiving! Linda

  3. I never knew what Gurley candles were until I started blogging! We had a set of those pilgrim candles when I was little, and I would always play with them. My Mom has since given them to me, and when our daughter was little, she would play with them too!

  4. I think my grandmother had the same set Linda described in the earlier comment-- a girl like the one you pictured, and a boy, and a turkey. I never knew the company that made them, so I'm glad I came across this post!
