I read this how-to on making gift card holders and decided to give it a try. I made my own little bags for the inside, but other than that, it was easy.
And as long as I was making my own bags, why not use some decorative paper?
A neat idea, don't you think? You could also use them to send photos or notes. Rather unique!
Since this week's Wacky states it is for "twisted people," maybe I shouldn't admit that I like these and buy them often. Did you know the Super Pretzel company was named for the owner's love of Superman? Me either.
I decided to occasionally post just a photo on my blog. No big story, just a picture; short and sweet. You've probably had your fill of Christmas images by now, but I liked the collection feel to this shot. It's some of my daughter's treasures, and she arranged it herself.
Both New Year's Eve and New Year's Day I was able to get in some crafting. I made a bunch of inchies just because I hadn't in a long time. They are fun, and more challenging than one might think. I'm not sure what I'll do with them. Bookmarks or tags come to mind. Is there much of a market for 1" x 1" collages? I kinda doubt it. Most of these were made from old magazines snippets.
Some of my favorites from last year I added to one of my Smash books. I might glue in a couple of the latest creations.
I also snuck in a Smash page in my "Songs" book. I doubt Led Zeppelin meant horses' hooves when thinking of a title, but I like the connection.
