The thrift finds have been sooooooo lacking of late I was thinking of giving up the ship, but I did find some nifty old games recently. I've never seen this one before. Made in Austria, it is a memory game of famous paintings. Pretty cool.
Bingo, anyone?
Some pretty old poker chips in their boxes.
And a definitely old pin-the-tail-on-the-donkey game. Very nice art on the box.
I also found some vintage Hallmark stationery. They sure don't make designs like this anymore.
Have a fun day!
Bingo cards are always a fun find and I'm intrigued by the art game. I would enjoy that one! Hugs!
ReplyDeleteI LOVE vintage board games! My kids love playing them (before I sell them) They say that the new games aren't that great.
ReplyDeleteI'm with your kids! Thanks for reading.
DeleteOldies but goodies! I don't remember the Art game!
ReplyDeleteGreat scores on the games! The art one looks interesting. Makes me think of the game Masterpiece.
ReplyDeleteThe Art Memo game has captured a lot of interest. I didn't have the game, but had some old art cards that I picked up at a yard sale years ago, (like a Time Warner, monthly pack in the mail thing)... Anyway...
ReplyDeleteI used those with my kids for school and played a game with those cards. I just made it up--
but a game with actual rules might have helped settle a few arguments!
I like the pin the tail on the donkey, I bet the box is worth a pretty penny...
What great finds, love the Pin The Tail On The Donkey game, great graphics as you say! Deb xo
