Friday Favorite

Since we are knee deep in the holiday season, my question for this Friday is: what is your favorite Christmas carol? Jingle bells?

Santa Claus Is Coming To Town?

White Christmas? Notice this sheet music is from the movie Holiday Inn and not White Christmas.

Or maybe you like the sillier side of caroling? How about the Chipmunk Song??

I really have a lot of favorites, but What Child Is This would be near the top. Pat-A-Pan comes to mind. I like Bob Seger's version of Little Drummer Boy. Love the Vince Guaraldi music (from A Charlie Brown Christmas). Who doesn't like Judy Garland singing Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas... Okay, I'll shut up now.

Have a nice weekend!

  1. My all time favorite is Silver Bells! I would love to find the sheet music to that. I have it in a book of music though. I should try to play it today! lol I may be a little out of practice. Holiday hugs, Diane

  2. you know this one...
Father Christmas- Kinks. Not your traditional Christmas song; but, I love this song...some might say it's rebellious, but I say it's spot on with a Christmas message.
A Christmas Political Statement... I think every holiday should have at least one song that makes a political statement! Ha!
My traditional song would be--Bing Crosby-- Drummer Boy
    Merry Christmas... ;)
