1967 Nighties

Let's look at the Sears catalog for some dreamy nightgowns today. Very feminine which is more than I can say for most of today's T-shirty styles.

Matching curler cap? Don't see those these days!

Cute sleeves on the right.

I don't know about these loungers being lively, but they do look comfortable. I remember similar garments being called "house dresses."

Hmm... now I feel like getting comfy. How about you??  Thanks for reading!

  2. I like the very last picture!!! I bought a new shortie robe this summer, that is pink and has a zipper, very retro but so comfortable!!! Maybe it's a housedress!!

  3. I could use some of those house dresses...my mother called them dusters back in the day. I thought of you when I posted the vintage game today. (wish we could play it!) Happy summer my friend. Hugs, Diane

  5. Thumbs up on the house dresses- actually I wear a similar style out of terry cloth at the pool. No. 9 in the second photo-- is that a babydoll style? Well it's cute and Id sleep in it!
