In honor of my anniversary month, Tag Tuesday chose the theme "weddings" for this week. Just kidding-- the theme is indeed "weddings," but that is just a coincidence. Sounded good though, didn't it? My tag is rather retro; old sewing pattern bride (remember when wedding dresses had sleeves??) and old wedding wrapping paper underneath. I wonder if the phrase is old-fashioned too? Do brides still follow this little superstition? I did.
Have a lovely day!
Tags and cards and scrap albums are fun to do.
ReplyDeleteI like this.
I love the 1970s bride there! My mom's wedding dress was either from the 20s or 20s inspired and had sleeves like that :) If I were ever to get married (doubtful) I'd just wear her dress.
ReplyDeleteWearing your mom's dress would be very sweet! And never say never!!
DeleteVery fitting....your anniversary and T's wedding Thursday. Love it!! She did the phrase so I don't think it is old fashioned at all. Very nice!!
ReplyDeleteSo sweet. Love the 70s dress. :)
ReplyDeleteI always liked those lace sleeves.
ReplyDeleteI think brides still do a lot of the traditional things included in that phrase.
ReplyDeleteYour Tag has a lovely vintage flair too it. I like the wedding dress with the sash tied in the front for a big bow!
...I wore jeans and cowboy boots (we eloped) no wedding here. :0
