Joining in the "
No More Winter Whining" linky party today at Life Is Like A Garden, although I haven't done much of that this year, believe it or not. We've had a very mild winter so far. And after the decades of struggling through snow, sleet, ice, white outs, blizzards... I'd say we deserve it! We are expected to see highs only in the teens for a couple of days so these handmade afghans will come in handy! I have quite a number of them. I made some, my mother, my grandmother. Most of them are very bright and bold.
The black and white squares is a small size I made when I was expecting my daughter as experts said color contrasts were important for infants' vision so I went along.
Arthur, the Mastiff, favors this rainbow stripes afghan.
Bright colors and a warm snuggly afghan can lend a certain comfort to winter, don't you think?
Enjoy!
Aw, Arthur knows a good thing when he sees it. :-) Pretty work!
ReplyDeleteThanks for joining in the game and visiting my blog! You have such a lovely assortment of afghans! And, well, what can I say, Arthur is gorgeous! Cheers~

ReplyDeleteThis is a fun party and I'm meeting so many new people. Your afgans are a lovely splash of winter color. Just seeing them has banished all winter's woes. Happy Sunday.
ReplyDeleteWhat beautiful bright colours in your afghans, they not only keep you cozy but brighten your day as well! And love the picture of Arthur, he is adorable and looks like he knows how to keep comfy.
ReplyDeleteLovely bright afghans to snuggle up with in a cold winer day.
ReplyDeleteI love the afghans, especially the blue and orange one. Sorta reminds me of our Denver Broncos. Thanks for stopping by the Garden Spot. We, too, are a bit short on snow here. January had its cold snap, now the weather is pretty mild. I like mild.
ReplyDeleteLove the bright cheerful colors in the afghans! We had a mild winter last year and it was wonderful, not so lucky this year!
ReplyDeleteIt's amazing how those bright, beautiful colors can lift the spirit! And the fact that they're afghans adds that sense of warmth and well-being. Great antidote!
