Thrifting Wrap-Up

Okay, that title is a bad pun since I bought some wrapping paper this week. The old designs were so cute. This is the first time I've found any vintage wrap. Also a couple spools of ribbon to use for 25 cents apiece. Can't beat that when there always seems to be a child's birthday party looming on the horizon.

What do we think of this? A souvenir from Holland; it's a bank with a padlock and keys yet. Definitely different.

Would you believe this is the second rubber stamp carousel I've come across in a year?  I did sell the first one, and this one is in really nice condition.

Here's a better look at the wrapping paper. The baby paper on the left is unopened.

A falling apart old Atlas will work well for paper projects. I can never pass up a Polaroid camera if the price is right.

Have a great weekend!

  3. That wooden shoe bank is adorable...I've never seen one like it. And the rubber stamp holder is perfect! You could use it in your crafting area! Have a good weekend my friend! Hugs!

  4. I've got a few sheets of vintage paper, I actually saw some this week and left it behind - I don't think I've done anything with what I have! Are you going to use it for something?

  5. Cool finds!
I have started collecting little wooden shoes a few years back. Not sure why...but I just did. Then my brother visited the Netherlands and brought back a small pair...and so now those are special to me.
Now! the stamp carousel is interesting. I've seen lots of crafters use these in their craft rooms for different repurposing and organizing. I'm sure this one will sell quickly. If in fact you're selling it. :)
    have a great weekend.

  6. Loving the stamp carousel, great find! And the wooden shoe is too cute. I'd never think to look for gift wrap in a thrift shop, but why not?! Great old camera too, would make a good photo prop.
