1921 Baby Book

Several years ago my aunt gave me her baby book from 1921. I happened to come across it a couple of days ago and thought I'd share some of the sweet illustrations from it. The artist is Clara Miller Burd. She was from New Jersey and illustrated books and magazines.

Such detailed work. So unlike today.

In case you're wondering, my aunt is now 92 and doing amazingly well.

Have an amazing day!

  1. Damn that book's in good shape! So much so it looks like a repo, I looove illustrations of books in that era. I have one but it's hard to sell because it's in horrid shape.

    1. You're right. There are a couple loose pages, but they are in good shape for their age. Thanks for commenting!

  3. Beautiful pictures.
I think they'd be pretty framed and in a nursery. That is if the book was in tatters already, you know?
    love seeing the art work.
