F-I-N-D-S

I scored a few finds while thrifting this week.  Actually, I donated more than I brought home which is a good thing.

The letter cards are from a Probe game.  I've seen them all over Etsy and blogville; now I finally have some to play with.  The sweet, shabby plate has lots of vintage charm.  Such pretty flowers.

And how about this odd little candle? I've never seen one like it before.  No label or maker mark unfortunately.  I picked up a couple other Easter goodies but am saving them for gifts so I better not show them.

What do you think of this planter?  Not my usual taste, but the squash seemed unique and I don't have much Fall decor.  My daughter liked it so it found a home on my front porch for the time being.

Have you found anything good thrifts this week?

Enjoy!

  1. I bought an old Probe game a while back, we play it, it's a great game! That is one game I see all the time - you have me thinking now - the cards would be great for my SMASH book! I actually just saw two of them yesterday.......

  2. Woooo! Love your finds! Those cards are great and, because I'm usually "behind the times", I haven't seen them before. I'll be on the look now. You can use them for so many things. And you'll do something wonderful in the fall for the planter, unless your daughter has ideas for it herself. Great finds! I've been restraining myself this week (hard work!) but I did donate a bag and a box of stuff to the thrift store. I hope to go back on Friday for a good look around. Ah, the joys of the hunt!

  3. We always loved the game Probe! That is such a cute planter. I need to get to the thrift store and see what's there. And I've not been to an estate sale for ages. This is a good time of year to find those too.

Hope you'll stop in for our spring sale on all our vegan, handcrafted soaps.

  4. Love your little ceramic finds... I do so love vintage china! I try not to "thrift" shop much anymore because I already have so much "stuff" accumulated! (not to mention, there's not many places to thrift around here!) ...and I am so very lucky that I do not actually live in a place where there are ample flea markets, road side sales, etc., because I would need to live in a mansion then! Cheers~

  5. You've done great, love the letters...I need to dig out my scrabble game...been meaning to do that for a few months.

Our thrift stores here, well let's say they are expensive and lean...too many antique shops visiting get anything of worth. And the people that lived here before the influx of new people didn't have much.

  7. Cute finds! It is good thing to have a "revolving door", isn't it? (At least for me... I only have so much space.)
